Noel, you have gone to the crazy part of Crete, come to our end at the Chania region, much more civilised and very welcoming, also further west to where we live in kolimbari area.

We holidayed in Crete last year, stayed at a house in Ravdoucha and visited a supermarket in Kolimbari, somewhere on the edge of town as I recall. Nice area.

Thanks for the accolade John, Kolimbari its self reminded us of Cornwall when we first saw the little harbour 13 years ago and was part of the reason we decided to seek a house and live here, we overlook Kolimbari and the bay, no going back we love it here...
