Talking to a lady today, she'd had her kitchen ceiling ruined due to her leaking shower. Got the shower fixed and the ceiling, then the bath burst with a full load of water in it.
I'm just thankful for small problems at times.

Eeeek! Fortunately our shower is downstairs, so there won't be a ceiling-coming-down issue for us. The moan is that a replacement shower tray tends to mean a replacement cubicle as well unless hubby can find one of the exact same dimensions.

You should be able to Linda, they come in quite a range, I went for an acrylic resin tray which is very rigid and doesn't need the support that a fibre glass one does. Loads on the internet.

He couldn't last time, Noel, so we had to replace the whole thing. And the one that has broken is an acrylic one, and he supported it with a flag stone underneath after a previous one cracked through flexing. But even with those precautions, this one has developed a crack. Maybe we shouldn't expect them to last more than half a dozen years? I will tell hubby to look online for one of the right size - he tends to go to B&Q cos when he's in the mood to fix something, it's gotta be done NOW!

Looking for something else, I came across this website full of beautiful pictures of the March eclipse:

And although there was lots of fantastic enlarged shots, I was particularly struck by the beauty of the British night sky in this one:

Linda, What a fantastic photograph that is. One to be proud of I would have thought.

I thought yours was excellent Jim. Got a tripod now so next time.......

Noel, As you know, a tripod is rule No.1. I rather fancy having a go at some night `mood` photography. (Got to find some way of filling in this retirement time [Tongue][Tongue]).
Here is a shot I took early one morning in the back garden. I was simply trying to capture all the vapour trails. The composition was an accidental fluke.

That's beautiful, Jim. I've always loved looking at tree branches silhouetted against the sky.
