- DavidBatty - 14-Aug-2006 It's the old police station. The party shop is in the distance. - Spycam - 14-Aug-2006 Yes, well done David B. [ ]
- noel - 15-Aug-2006 Could we ban David from this please?[} ][} ]
- LDunlop76 - 15-Aug-2006 Or at least get him to agree to give everyone else 24 hours head start? - muffers - 15-Aug-2006 Perhaps someone could pop over to his house and tie his hands behind his back. - shuffy - 15-Aug-2006 good idea Averil - Spycam - 15-Aug-2006 Yes but he's so clever he would type with his nose[8D] - Spitfire - 15-Aug-2006 I havn`t guessed any of them yet. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TRY!!!!! Every time I log on, the latest one has already been solved. DB, Do you get a warning `pop-up`, immediately a new one is posted? [ ]
- DavidBatty - 15-Aug-2006 I don't guess any of them, I only post if I'm sure of the answer, I get most of them in a couple of seconds, I got the Worden Gates but didn't post an answer to that one. When I didn't answer the seat photo we ended up with guesses being posted, I knew it wasn't near the prison because that's where I am and I know this area, so I didn't post because I didn't have a definitive answer. Do I post or wait until a near enough guess is accepted? I don't have a popup lol, I just log on when checking my emails and there is another one waiting to be solved. You don't need to look at the answers given to have a guess at it yourself, the picture is always at the top which means that you have to deliberately scroll down to see what answers have been posted. Dont' do it, have a guess before scrolling down and reading the answers. We could post a private message to Ishake with the answer and a public one saying 'Got it' which would mean that the competition would be open for 24 hours or 48 hours or whatever and nobody would know if the first person or any other was indeed correct. The winner and runners up could be announced later. This is extra work for Ishake so although its a solution that would give everyone a chance to have a go it might not be suitable. I had a laugh at Noels solution of banning the winner of the competitions, do you then ban the next person who gets some right and so on? I could help people out by posting the answer to Roy but then minutes or hours later someone will probably post the answer publically so negating my efforts to keep the answer a secret. If the problem is wanting to work it out yourself then it's simple, don't look at any answers posted, if the problem is wanting to be first then log on more often, if it's wanting to have a guess then Roy could wait a day or so until various guesses are posted until he announces the answer the we see who is right. What do we do Roy? |
