The standard English National Concession allows card holders to travel FREE throughout England on "local bus services" after 09.30am and before 11.00pm Monday to Friday and at all times on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
There are also concessions in some areas.
So where have you been?

The furthest I have been with my now card is Southport.Frank has been to Blackpool and Fleetwood with Morgan who we used to look after as she was free ( being under 5) and he only had to pay 50p

From April 1st I will report on free bus trips.
111Fishwick into Preston bus station then your worlds your oyster...
Garstang (worth a visit) then jump the bus 1 hour later further north
to Lancaster / Morecambe / Heysham.
Lancaster bus station to Kendal or Kirby Lonsdale perhaps?
Preston to Southport or East to Skipton.
And there 's Wigan / Bolton and more....
Bus numbers and routes and photos over the next few months.

This looks interesting. As I have said in another thread, I`ve only used mine a couple of times for the park-and-ride.
50p for a days shopping in Preston can`t be bettered (unless you get on your bike).[

When (if?) we make it back to Leyland, it would be interesting to try using Go-Cards. Are they available to non-residents (or those who could use a "c/o" local address)?

When I had to renew mine recently I forgot to send a photo with it but the pass still came back with a photo on it ( scarey LOL) They had obviously kept my original on file

Shuffy...when I sent in the application to renew my Nowcard before Christmas, it asked me to confirm that the details shown on it were correct, and said that a new photograph was not necessary. So dont worry...for existing holders of Nowcards, they simply used your existing photo for new national card.
