Help finding a suitable charity - Ant - 07-Jun-2008

Not sure if I am posting this in the most appropriate place...
Anyway, I would like to help out a local
childrens home come christmas time with some presents and hopefully a visit from a large amount of minis. I haven't run this by many people yet it's all just ideas.
I do think though that it would be a good idea to brighten christmas up for someone. Feel free to suggest alternatives that you think would be more appropriate.

All feedback appreciated.

How about Derian House the childrens hospice in Chorley?

You could also try approaching Social Services as they run the "looked-after children" service and will know which venues would appreciate a visit.

I think I will try social services. Thanks for that.

As for Derian house, I appreciate they are a needy charity but I was thinking more along the lines of a social services run thing.
