Help finding a suitable charity - Ant - 07-Jun-2008 Not sure if I am posting this in the most appropriate place... Anyway, I would like to help out a localchildrens home come christmas time with some presents and hopefully a visit from a large amount of minis. I haven't run this by many people yet it's all just ideas. I do think though that it would be a good idea to brighten christmas up for someone. Feel free to suggest alternatives that you think would be more appropriate. All feedback appreciated. - shuffy - 07-Jun-2008 How about Derian House the childrens hospice in Chorley? - LDunlop76 - 08-Jun-2008 You could also try approaching Social Services as they run the "looked-after children" service and will know which venues would appreciate a visit. - Ant - 08-Jun-2008 I think I will try social services. Thanks for that. As for Derian house, I appreciate they are a needy charity but I was thinking more along the lines of a social services run thing. |
