Genealogy - Fiverise - 21-Apr-2010 I am interested in starting to research my roots on both sides of the pennines. Any one with experience of best sites to use, and easiest way to go about it, or any books I should read, have managed to go back four generations on one side but struggling with other topics. - shuffy - 26-Apr-2010 one free site is WWW.familysearch.org it is the Mormon site and is an excellent way to make a start. WWW.ancestry.co.uk is another good site that has all the census back to 1841 upto 1901 but it does cost to use it the cheapest way is a yearly subscription. I am also willing to do look ups for you on Ancestry as well. ( thats free as well[ ] )
