Lancashire Relish
#1
I just bought a bottle of sauce from my local supermarket called Lancashire relish. I have never seen it before here or in Lancashire. Does anyone know what its for, I used it in some spag bol I cooked and it is quite tasty. Whats really needed is some good old Lanky recipes it can be used in. It is slightly sweet and is described as a milder fruitier version of Wocestershire sauce. Anybody ever used it before and if so in what dishes - any recipes will be welcome ?

As well as the different sorts of Worcestershire Sauce on the shelves, we have Hendersons Sauce, made in Shefield which I believe was Yorkshire Relish, then there was Gentleman`s Relish, which was supposed to originate in the London Clubs.

They are all good, as for recipes, I nake a nice stewpot full, throw som H.P. in, with some Tomato Ketchup, a bit of Henderson`s and then my secret ingredient, a bit of brown sugar. Mmmmmmmm.....
