O.K. William, I`ve reprinted and included your second posting also. If I can`t find enough relevent facts (and photos * ) with all the information you have supplied, then I think the archive dept. should close down. [Tongue]

* Regarding photographs, they are all copyright of course. However, if it can be proven that they are not required for gain etc. Then I don`t see why I couldn`t get special dispensation for a copy or two. We`ll have to await the outcome on that.

I finally have my models in place. They occupy the shelf over each arch in the entrance hall.

Jim...how did the Model Transport Exhibition go yesterday? Hope it was well-advertised and got plenty of support.

Sorry Smithy, I missed seeing your posting for some reason. To be honest, it was a little disappointing regarding numbers and it can all be blamed on the weather. Although it was quite nice in Leyland, we were getting calls from exhibitors (mainly on the East side of the country) that bad weather had prevented them setting out.

Those who did turn up showed their skills and love of the hobby once again. One table that I found interesting was devoted to building breakdown trucks (two of which I have in my own collection).[Image: aprilshow2.jpg]

The next show (Sunday 20th April) is the always popular, `Classic and Vintage Ford day.`

Jim, Frank, his mate and our 5 year old grandson certainly enjoy the exhibition our grandson was still full of it the day after telling me all about it and showing me the pictures in the brochure. What really impressed him though was the fact that "in the old days you got on at the back of the bus" so I promptly told him that they weren't THAT old days!! LOL
