Hello, what's all this. We'll have no luvvy duvvy here. This is a local shop for local people <bg> Well I'm glad I've got over that bug for Christmas, been laid low for a few days with some godforsaken illness. You will be able to recognise me by my white scruffy hair, scruffy moustache, red staring eyes that never blink. Are you really sure you want to meet me?? <vbg> Nah seriously love the background this is so christmassy, well done Martin. Hopefully I will be there with my wife Margaret ( her annual treat).

Hi Noel, Good to see you`re better and joining in again. I find I now have arthritis in my knee, must be from too much begging. Let the young `uns have their fun, Noel, they`re tomorrows senior citizens you know. Enjoy the Season. Over the Pennines, Bill.

Thankyou Bill, feeling a lot better now. Hopefully someone will take pity on me and buy me a pint <g> All the best over Christmas Bill and all forum members.

Though whether it will be in my offical capacity as Leyland Historical Society chairman, as the museum visit and walk was my idea to show my future wife the historical part of Leyland in company with Dr David Hunt from the Museum. I should say she is coming over from Toronto for her first visit next weekend, before she moves over here next year.

Pretty cool Peter. Having expressed my thoughts over how this country is going have you never considered making the move to Toronto?
Good luck anyway and hopefully see you New Year's eve at the Eagle.
