[:p]I remember the "Rag and Bone man" I was very young at the time but I think we found old clothes and rags took them out to his cart and he gaves us ? some kind of pot thing, maybe it was supposed to be Bone China, hence bone man? now this is a very early memory so I`m not sure about it.
Also who remembers the Gypsies selling paper flowers? the betterware man usually a Siek (ups I cant have spelt that right!) wearing a turban, he would give us kids tiny tins of furniture polish.
My Dad once took me down Leyland and on the way back, we saw a man outside the GPO, he was playing I think it was it a barrel organ? the man had a monkey on his shoulder and had a wooden stump for a leg, I think he`d lost his leg in the war.
