Sounds very frustrating for you. What`s the answer? On the other side of the coin, I have waited ages, on several occasions, to exit School Lane onto Golden Hill and wondered why the traffic on Golden Hill was getting such a long period on green, which is just the opposite to your problem.
Is there an answer, or are we approaching the dreaded `gridlock` situation?
