Irish referendum

From what I can understand it was a bit like the referendum on congestion charges in Manchester -the Irish felt they were being bullied and bribed into acceptance and retaliated by voting no.
I expect there will be other sweeteners offered to persuade them to vote the 'right 'way next time.
Isn't it amazing how we are always being told on various matters that All 'right thinking 'people must toe whatever line is being laid down.
Good for the Irish in standing up and being counted.
That's my opinion for what it's worth.
