"To mark International Year of Astronomy 2009, the University of Central Lancashire
is putting on a series of events for schools, community groups and the general public.

Making use of our enhanced Alston Observatory (near Longridge, Lanacashire) we
will provide exciting opportunities to learn about astronomy, inlcuding some hands-on
activitites".
