My wife who isn't a member of the forum read Bruce's spiel and remembers most of those names. Her brother Brian who is 11 years older might even know you Bruce. She lived next door to a Maureen Cowburn, is it the same one? Her brother was in the choir at St James' and also Boy's Brigade way back in the very early fifties.
Tom Finney I understand by the way is in a nursing home from reports on the PNE forum. Nothing has been published in the press so far but I am assured by good sources it is true otherwise I would not repeat it.
