I remember, not too many years ago, when Leyland Parish Church was taken to task for having the affrontery to fly the Cross of St. George on April 23rd!!!
For some unknown reason (twisted PC - perhaps) government bodies try to play any celebration of the event down.
There were low rumblings of discontent in some quarters which I hoped would flourish. They could have my wholehearted support - for one.
