I have no idea why the saints' days are not celebrated here. Maybe there's some prejudice about the celebrating of saints being a Catholic practice? - Catholicism was outlawed for a long time and old prejudices linger on. I can't say we celebrate any national saints' days in this house, but we do celebrate Burns Nights - will that do? <g>
