Local web pages
#1
I'm starting to compile a list of local web sites. If you know of any, good or bad, then let me know. You can email me from the forum.

I don't want commercial links, but anything else (within reason) goes.

I've almost finished the first page of Local Links. There are about 40 links on it at the moment, relating to various sites, ranging from local sports clubs to favourite cars and of course, family pages.

I will update the main leylandtown.info page when it's ready, but I will be adding to it as I find more.

Very good Martin, I`ll give you 107% for it, V.G. and a Gold Star. I like the John Sumner pages, more people should publish this sort of thing, just to let us know where we come from. Cheers, Bill.

It's very neat and concise. I didn't realise there were so many local links, probably only the tip of the iceberg as well, but pretty cool. (showing my age)

Thanks for the comments folks, I will put the gold star in my book right away [Big Grin]

I've been busy searching the web for local content and have found a couple more to add to the list.

One idea I had, was to let people make a page here on this site. If anyone is interested, let me know.

More links please!

Nice work, Martin! I could surf around that for ages. Particularly liked the Shredded Feet Appalachian Clog Dancing site, which I clicked because the name intrigued me! <g>

Well there you go.

Actually I'm disappointed that nobody noticed, that the Balshaws link was not the school web site, but a family name site with a page on Balshaws. [Sad!]

I've updated that one now and added Runshaws to the list. [^]
