Another Anacortes View
On my way to work one day last week, I was leaving home just after sunrise. I had the camera in the car and, when I saw this scene, decided to record it.

We live at the foot of a south facing hill. This photo is taken just over the top of the ridge, looking just slightly west of north.

The area in the foreground is a housing development of ramblers (bungalows in UK-speak) and a row of two-story condominiums near the road.

I guess the folks in the bungalows can say, given a bit of artistic licence, "We have ferries at the bottom of our garden".

retired to Anacortes, Washington State, USA in 1999.
We'll forgive the pun in exchange for the lovely photo!
