OK ... now I'm 'fessing up[:p]
...so I was a regular at the infamous Coffee Bar in Chapel Brow[8D]

I was one of the original patrons and
spent many happy hours there[Big Grin]

This is a letter from my sister ..
sent to me when I was living in
Liverpool and was home most weekends.

I too went to the Chequered flag in my younger silly days..a lot of bikers (rockers) used to come from Wigan..I went out with one of them and married him...when i think about going on the back of that bike no crash helmet on and a mini skirt..my poor parents must have been worried sick.... then for some reason we started to go the Brazilian..don't know why.. can't remember..maybe it shut down..the old brain cells are packing up...(oh the marriage didn't last long he started to use me as a punch bag) Happy ending [Smile] married a lovley person..he's the best thing since sliced bread..

The p.s. at the top of the page was
written by my mother ..
the names are .. Mummy, Daddy, Gran,
Laddie(our well known K9) and
Baby(our cat)!!!

Laddie used to ride the bus alone from
Leyland Station to The Cross and
home again. He visited the
Roe Buck looking for my father and
The Watkinsons at #13 Fox Lane looking
for my sister and me!!
