OK so now we have 28th, 30th or 1st.....(so Linda can come)

Ok so votes now for 28th, 30th or 1st - speak now!!

I'll be with you in spirit, too, I'm fed up I can't be there, the Eagle's my old stomping ground an' all! We go back to France on the 22nd. December..... back in April, tho', when Linda's over, if I remember rightly.

Greetings,
How about meeting at the Eagle and Child at 12 noon on Tuesday 31st December for a sandwich and a pint then move to the museum for the Historical Society meeting and walk at 1p.m. There should be plenty of opportunity to talk on the walk.
Regards,
Brian.

That sounds OK by me Brian, I'll see if I can get Stuart Parker to come along. He laughed when I told him you couldn't remember me. Quoted a well known saying from Victor Meldrew.
Don't think you'd remember me now with my white hair and moustache though Brian, the moustache is handy for sieving the beer .Shall we wear a pink carnation and carry a copy of the Times ( joking )

If you know where St Andrew's Church is Linda, The Eagle and Child ( a favourite haunt of all ex-Balshavians) is about 100 yards away heading up Church Lane away from the Cross . A simple route, get to Tesco's and you can see the Leyland Cross and the Church from the car park.
