As opposed to TV programs, I can vividly remember out first TV set. It was a KB and the magnificent solid wood cabinet could have put many side-boards to shame.

There was also a Mr Turnip who actually made it into a marrionette for Christmas ( my sister had one) and Mick and Montmerency rings a bell, Mick was Charlie Drake at a very young age, not sure who the other guy was.

Not really a children's show though was it? Shirley Abbacar (spelling) with her Zither and Jimmy Crack Corn, I have never heard that song since, nor seen another Zither. And of course the adventures of Robin Hood, with Richard Greene. I was 9 at the time it came out.
