Just looked at Fox Lane 1955 pic. My sister, Jean, is the one in the middle of the front row in a pinafore dress, and I suspect the blond boy forth from the left on the back row coould be none other than Professor Sir John Lawton CBE FRS

That would be Paul Dickinson, as his brother Bert (Tony) was in my year.

I hadn't spotted Ian Laurenson or you John till you told us but now I can recognise you both. Ian was in the same form as me at Balshaws as was Kathleen Platt. Happy days ( I thinkLOL)
