If our computers develop a fault at work very often someone from IT will fix it remotely. It certainly is very weird to sit at one's computer and watch the cursor moving seemingly by itself. However it's even more disconcerting when it becomes obvious from what the IT guy is clicking on that he doesn't have any more idea of how to fix it than you do (as has happened twice to me now) and you're just sitting there waiting for him to say down the phone "naw, can't do it - someone will have to come out to it" - which I strongly suspect is IT speak for "I haven't got a clue about this dental software and will have to send someone who does"! LOL!
