A good website you need to see after reading any front page 'miracle' cures and health stories printed by the ridiculous gutter press that is the tabloids (and more so nowadays the broadsheets - are there any more).

I sometimes read Ben Goldacre's column in the Guardian - he can be very scathing and makes me chuckle

I read the book 'Bad Science' last year and always have a flick through when the daily mail prints that tomato pills prevent cancer and the like. I tried to get Steve Wright to get a copy and to give it to that Jamie Lee Grace (or whatever her name is) so she would stop reading out 'news' stories on the radio that include the words 'scientists have shown'. I didn't get a reply to me e-mail to him saying he should get him for an interview so he could put some of their nonsense right.
