Two items in today's UK on-line newspapers makes me wonder about the priorities of the Police, particularly the London force. In one report, a clothing store offered free items to any woman who showed up in her underwear. About 200 women did so and a team of 50 policemen showed up to arrest them for indecent exposure.
In the other case, a nude photograph of Brooke Shields at age 10 was removed from a Tate Galery show "following a visit from the Police".
Is there so little crime in London that they can afford to spend time on such trivial events? More of the ever-encroaching "Nanny State"?
