Stars of TV soap Emmerdale will be heading to Lancashire for a cricket battle of the Roses.
Familiar faces from the ITV show will take time out from the Woolpack to take part in a charity cricket match against Leyland Cricket Club to support St Catherine’s Hospice’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
Popular actors such as Chris Chittell, who plays scheming Eric Pollard, former Coronation Street actor Chris Bisson who is now Jai Sharma in Emmerdale, Matthew Wolfenden who plays David Metcalfe and Jason Merrells who plays Declan are all hoping to take part in the match.
