Well the Transport police have just been at the back of our house ! This time picking up body parts !! Some poor soul has just thrown themselves in front of a train ! As I got to the bedroom window to see what was going on one poor officer picked up a hand !! This person was literally spread all over the track for about 200 metres ! Not a good start to the day !! How sad it is that some poor soul reached such a drastic decision in their life !

I suppose it could have been an accident or even heaven forbid murder,just one push is all it would take I would imagine.

There's a report in tonight's LEP, it happened at Leyland station and no foul circumstances according to police.

I saw a programme about the Bombay railway last week. They have to deal with this sort of thing on a very regular basis.

Yes, It is certainly a eye opener what goes on within India. Of course H & S here would never allow Phil to trespass on the railway or the public to clamber on to the side/top/back of trains to get electrocuted or fall to there death. That has just reminded me, many years ago, I was told that a lad called John Lambert met his doom at Leyland Station. Anyone know about this as. I remember him from school. I am not being morbid but it would be nice to have the correct facts in my head !

There have been a few over the years Dave on this stretch its getting as popular as Beachy Head ! A mate of mine told me on Friday that his mate had a jack russell dog that used to jump over his fence onto the railway embankment and that one day it came back over with an arm in its mouth !! The guy who killed himself last week was called Hatch ( Surname ) Carl Hatch's brother by all accounts ( according to a neighbour ! ) I dont know either of them ! He was 37 !
