Eileen would be interested to know how far behind the CBUT Coraonation Street episodes are. Last night we got a major event as a marker, when Jack (Vera's husband) died. When did that episode air in the UK?

Wow Frank you are further behind than us in Nz and we are nearly 2 years behind. I would say at a guess about 5 years but the Uk lot would know better. Eileen might like my snippet of news. I travelled back to Nz on a plane from Dubai to Melbourne and "Becky" was sitting just a few rows in front of me. I made myself known to her as a fan and she was ever so pleasant and chatty. She was on her way to meet her boyfriend!!!! sandy

Well i think Sandy's right about NZ - Gail's just gone to gaol, and leggy Kelly has gone away somewhere tonight after Nick gave her the sack (after having her IN the sack)

Until this year, Corrie was always pre-empted by the Stanley Cup hockey play-offs, which run for 6 to 8 weeks. Enough people complained last year that CBUT moved it from 6:30 pm to 3:30 during the playoffs.

I've given up on Corrie - I mean, how many psychopaths, transgenders, teenage lesbians, gays and murderers can one street take? Bring back that good old Northern humour!

Totally agree Dorothy. I record the program and just fast forwards when certain people and subjects come into the program.

I think if I did that at the moment, Noel, I'd just be watching the opening and closing credits!
