I'm glad I didn't promise to come as my wife had a rearranged meeting to attend and I ended up baby sitting my grandson. I'd sooner not commit myself than let people down, but Hayley & Martin ( and Linda of course) sorry I couldn't be there.

Linda, I`ll believe you (although thousands wouldn`t). Forgetting to take cameras indeed. Own up now, you were all camera shy.[:p]. Glad you had a good meet. I havn`t been in the Viceroy for ages, I always enjoyed the meals there when I visited.

We had a great time oop north. On wednesday eve we had a Curry, Thursday we had Chinese and Friday we had chips.
What are they doing to Chapel Brow? It's closed to traffic and the kerbs have all been ripped up...

Did you measure the fish Martin? They've been messing around Golden Hill for quite a while last year replacing drains. Maybe thats what's happening in CB.

Regarding Chaple Brow, they are in the process of making it a one-way system. To my mind, it had been the obvious solution to the traffic problem for years. Why they didn`t adopt the idea ages ago is anyones guess, seeing as how they have a perfect example operating at Seven Stars.
