Best Chinese Takeaway

What do you think is the best Chinese takeaway in Leyland ? We have always rated the one at the top of School Lane but a change in ownership has changed our views on it. Last time we had one we got it from the one just behind the Queens and to be fair it was very nice ! For the record that Chippy does the best chips and curry sauce in the North West and for £1 you get a massive portion of chips ( Curry extra ) ! We always get chips and curry from there but I have always been put off ordering actual Chinese food from there because it looks a bit grotty but I can confirm that you cant judge a book by its cover because it was top notch ! We invariably get the crispy shredded beef in chilli sauce with egg fried rice and an extra portion of noodles and we share it ( Plenty enough by the way ) and I have to say that despite being a bit dearer than School Lane it was good. Ironically, as I type this a flyer has just come through the door advertising what is probably the nearest Chinese takeaway to us The China Star ! Might give it a whirl, unless anyone knows otherwise do tell !

We use Zhen Zhen in lostock,i know its not Leyland but when i went to Golden hill it was chips with everything-eeeek no thanks lol

Lostock Hall's my nearest shops I sound like goody 2 shoes but I never now buy from takeaways doing Chinese or Indian food. I have used the School Lane one you mention Phil but not for over 3 years. My wife is a Slimming World fanatic so takeaways are banned .

The Beijing on Chapel Brow continues to serve excellent quality food despite a few ownership changes over the years. Their takeaways are a bit more expensive than some but the little bit extra is well worth it.
