If it's true.
Also depends on if the council do what they are paid for NOW and no other roles are delegated to residents to ensure no 'direct' increases are made.

Still can't afford it. It more than doubled under labour.

Considering that a lot of people have had a pay freeze for the past 3 or 4 years and Councils have cut a lot of services, it's not really a freeze, we are just paying more for the the few services still run by the councils.
