The Glastonbury carnival was a roaring success yet again....

Does it take place in the evening, like other ones 'dahn Saaf', eg.Sidmouth??

Yes it does, usually about 7.30pm. Some of ths floats are amazing, they use thousands of light bulbs to make a display.

I used to go to the Frome and Warminster festivals when I lived at Dilton Marsh. Don't suppose they were as grand as the Glastonbury but Frome in particular had that local village atmosphere about it. Nothing like that up north.
