I'd been predicting he would be the world's best place kicker now ever since I first saw him play for England 4 or 5 years ago. Then the main part of his game was with the boot, but so much more to his game now, his was the pass that lead to Billy Whiz' try in the final (Jason Robinson) and his tackling and running with the ball were excellent.He is probably not only the best place kicker but the best stand off in the world.
There were stories out that the Scots and the Ozzies were urging people to vote for Tim Henman , a kind of sour grapes jesture.
