Apparently 4 schoolboys have been arrested for arson in connection with the fire.

It happened when I went there in the 1970's somebody burned down the RSLA block - we had a long summer holiday it kind of explains a lot about what happened to me since

I thought by law buildings like this had to have sprinklers, clearly I'm wrong but why on earth didn't they have them!!

I went into Leyland this morning and everyone is talking about the fire. I have seen various photos taken of the fire and from what I can tell not a great deal is left untuched. About 15 years ago I did some joinery work on a new entrance hall this too looks to have been burnt. When the original school was built in 1957 it was not compulsory to have sprinklers, and the way the extensions have been added it was probably too difficult to connect them all together.
