Saturday 30th November

A donkey, Santa’s Grotto, carol singing and live music are all part of the festivities, this Saturday.

The attractions kick off at 10am at Leyland Market with free children’s activities, a treasure trail, an entertainer and face-painting (with a small charge) until 5pm.

There will also be small fairground rides and a bouncy castle next to the market from 1.30pm until 5.30pm.

On the high street, there will be crafts and stalls from local businesses along Hough Lane from 1.30pm, as well as a ‘Taste Leyland’ stand for festive food fans.

At the United Reformed Church, there will be free Christmas card-making workshops for youngsters from 2pm until 4pm, stalls and children’s activities from 1.30pm until 5pm, and a Christingle carol service at 5.30pm, with the Christmas tree lights switch-on at 6.30pm.

Santa’s Grotto will be open from 1.30pm until 5.30pm at Peek-a-Brew at a small charge.
