Well well, we are again I wonder if Ally McCleod is doing anything these days? Maybe the 1970's Scottish Team would pull on an England shirt for us, couldn't do any worse..........

If those were the best defenders England could find then I'd plait sawdust. Johnson a joke at full back and the two central men, haven't they heard of marking the opposition, particularly when the name Suarez crops up. Rooney our best player last night, but missed a sitter, says it all.

They have repeatedly made too much of Rooney, and I just don't understand it. He was doing extra training apparently so that he could save the day for England. Some hopes. I hope now that they will see that he just isn't cutting the mustard any more, if he ever did.

I think Gerrard's days are numbered too, and Lampard as well. The result has been disappointing, but at least it will be a wake-up call.

I see the papers are talking about a "slim chance" that we will qualify - very slim indeed. So slim you can't see it.
