Good morning it's Thursday all day
#1
It's a dull sort of morning here. We seem to have leaves everywhere, not just on the garden but all over the paths too. I think the garden vac will have to come out or they will be treading into the house.

We have to finish sorting out the attic, most of it has been done and things have been disposed of one way and another, but we need to get it finished off. There was too much stuff stashed away up there. The charity shops have done well by our attic.

I heard that a violent storm is on its way across the Atlantic - I hope it misses and goes somewhere else! Big Grin

This is the best Thursday I've had for a couple of months. Strange aches and pains no doubt due to stress disappearing. My 6 year old granddaughter helped me to plant winter onion sets on Sunday, she wanted to know why they haven't grown yet.

I shall be feeding the injured cat we rescued from a taverna 2 months ago it had a damaged spinal cord and was dragging it`s back legs on the ground cutting it`s flesh to ribbons, with good food and the correct medicine from our brilliant vet George it as now beginning to totter around my art studio on all four legs George says a good six months of of care and rest and we should see it back to almost normal, it will be better than my finger that it had bitten when I rescued it, severing my tendon and breaking the knuckle bone that`s my Thursday again, we now have 11 cats and 2 dogs in our family here on Crete.

Good grief - they must cost a fortune to feed.

It is hot and sunny here this afternoon - really lovely. I had to take off my jacket when I was shopping in Preston.

Our weather has settled into its autmn/winter pattern. Our local airport weather station audio says "1000 broken, 1800 overcast, 48 degrees, 3/4 mile, rain and fog". The first two are cloud-base altitudes, the fourth one is visibility. That's at 07:30 local. The temperature will get a few degrees higher during the afternoon, but probably not much else will change.

Roll on April!

Crikey Dave, that's some injury. As germinal said lovely sunny day here, I managed to get the bulk of the budleia in the recycle bin quite pleasant working in the sun. Still annoyed about Blackpool Airport and those ISIS Pete, probably happily chopping more heads off just as their so called god tells them. Heathens! Seems like the Americans and Kurds are more than holding their own in Kabone while Turks, brave souls they are, watch on.

Much the same here in KL every day - hot and steamy punctuated by the 4pm severe thunderstorm for 2 hours. City centre gets flooded every time due to all the drains being blocked with run off from the many demolition sites contributing to KLCC redevelopment. Its funny how times change, the first time I came here in the 80's, the current KLCC was a race course and the old city was in a different place, now the old city is being revamped into a tourist area, the new city is being redeveloped and the race course is in a Place called Mines in Selangor with a huge Palace-like hotel for the punters called the Palace of the Golden horses. Makes the Grand National look routine, on another racing front, it's almost time for the Australian version of the Grand National - the Melbourne Cup.

But as Crocodile Dundee would say "That ain't a Club, this is a Club" in Brunei
