My sister (Madge Smith) was the first 'Mrs.Tom Thumb' in Leyland Festival (Douglas Hargreaves was 'Tom Thumb'...must have been around 1925. LEP did a 50th anniversary story (1975?)...I still have pictures of Madge on both occasions.

I was once in the Festival with 4th Leyland guides, I think it was the same year we danced on Preston North End. We danced to "Portsmouth" by Mike Oldfield ( I think) I use to love going on the park. It was always around my birthday.
