I've mentioned my wife was banned fron Thowd a while back for suggesting his portions were too small for the money. Has anybody ever been banned from a Leyland shop or had a serious row with a member of staff.
Ashamed to say, I was once barred from the Roebuck for 'drinking-up' too slowly!

I was banned from my own house on Dunkirk Lane just because I couldn't afford the rent.
Keep your finger on the Pulse of Leyland.

I was once asked to leave The Windmill in Eccleston for drinking too slowly. Never went back after that, miserable bloke that landlord. ( Back in the late sixties, I can't imagine he's still there now)

Pulse, you don't appear to have the finger on the pulse of humour do you!!!???
The current landlord was the bloke who banned me. The again, I'd rather drink in the Old Stars than the Roebuck!
