hello first of all...i'm new on here! just wondering if anybody knows of any good full time or part time jobs in leyland that would suit an 18yr old in the summer? and that would be avaliable from the 11th of july onwards? or know of any places where i might have a chance of working at!? I've never had a job before due to study...and i'm off to university in september...would be grateful for any help! Thanks.

If you're looking for a temporary job, there are a few agencies in Leyland. Try emailing, phoning and visiting them... persistence usually pays off.

Macdonalds are usually looking for staff and I've been told they pay decent wages.

When I was still at school I used to get jobs by reading the Lancashire Evening Post, I got jobs at Parkinsons Bakery at the top of Golden Hill when I was 14/15 scraping and washing trays at weekend then I got a job on a chicken farm which I really enjoyed even though it was a mucky job. Both of these came from the LEP, I think it's Thursday night that is Job night.

Welcome Blondie, as David said, check out the Lancashire Evening Post's adverts on Thurdsday, there are usually a lot of jobs advertised that night. Best of luck with it.
