Moving to Leyland
#1
Hi,
I'm hoping to move to Leyland during next year July and I was wondering if you folks could give me some info about the place.

Also, my family and I are Catholics, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on St. Mary's Catholic Church in Broadfield Drive? Is it a welcoming Parish? Does it have a family atmosphere?

All I know about Leyland at the moment is that there is a HUGE
Tesco hypermarket in Towngate, so if anyone could give me some info about the general atmosphere of Leyland , I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Paul.

Hi paul,I belong to St Ambroses in Leyland CofE and we recently had a faith for all week in which St Marys played quite a big role and I only heard positive comments about their helpers and we were made very welcome at the closing ceremony which was held there along with a beauiful flower estival . so I think you will be OK.Dedrah

Hiya, Paul. I'm not from Leyland myself, but what I can tell you is that everyone I've met via this forum has been really friendly. Get to know a few folk on here and you'll have ready-made friends when you move to Leyland! :-)
