Leyland's top netball team is hoping to retain the British College's title on Saturday in Keswick.
Eleven girls of the 12 man Cardinal Newman team are made up of players who regularly play for Leyland.
Centre Emma Dovey from Applefield, Leyland, said: "We have played together for five or six years with Leyland and now we are playing at college. I think that is one of the reasons of our success as we are a very close-knit group of friends.
"We know each other's strengths and weaknesses and will have to be at our best to win."
Meanwhile Becca Higgins believes playing with Leyland has developed their confidence:
