Ice-Cream
#1
I have just read an article in the paper about ice-cream vans operating near schools. I once picked my friends child up from school and I couldn't believe the ice-cream van was so close. I know in this hot weather the kids want ice-cream but it does put pressure on us parents to buy them. If we wanted to buy ice-cream we have many shops that sell them and we are also lucky enough to have Robinsons that is local. We don't need the pressure of them outside schools as well as on your road later in the evening.

Good point. The ones that annoy me are those that come round the estates early in the evening playing "Popeye the sailor man" then park right across the end of your drive for 10 minutes.

That tune, 'Popeye the sailor man' brings back fond memories of my childhood.

The one thing my children use to love about going to nanny's in the summer is the ice cream man. They would listen for him all day. I use to love to see there faces light up when they heard him. OOOO what I would not give for a 99 cone.
