One reason I know that one is because back in 1979 I was on the CB and playing hide and seek at night with other CB'ers in their cars, I drove down the back of that shop which at that time sold cars, and proceeded to 'hide' my car right at the end there on the roundabout, only about 200 yards from the rest of the cars that were looking for me. Because I was parked amongst all the cars for sale nobody could find me as I chatted to them on the CB telling them that I had just seen such and such go past me, it took them ages to find me because I was parked 200 yards away from them, in full view under their nose. Do you remember that Martin?

Hi Ishake, I have a fidelity home base switched on next to me all the time, it's always on channel 33 as my rigs have been since 1979 when I got my first one, a Colt 210. The squelch is up so the static doesn't annoy me, a 9 pound signal will get through fine though. I have had HiGain 5, Colt 210, Amstrad 901 and a few others over the years.
