Preston North End 2004-2005
I don't think that Blackburn is a city, they were unsuccessful when Preston got the nod from the Queen recently.

I guess it's a town....

Blackburn, a town with its roots in the Industrial Revolution on the edge of the Ribble valley.
Textiles have been produced in this town since Flemish weavers settled here in the 1400's, developing a wool and cotton tradition. James Hargreaves, inventor of the spinning jenny, was a weaver here. Also has a history of brewing, but sadly only one brewer remains.

Its history is reflected in its buildings and market, yet surprisingly close to open moors and countryside. Its cathedral was originally a parish church, rebuilt in the 19th century and enlarged in the 20th.

Truro in Cornwall is a city, or should that be a "cathedral " city, with a population of around 6000 when I was last there in the sixties.
If you do a google search City of Blackburn, it works. There again, so does Blackburn Town, can of worms methinks.[8]

Is anyone going to predict the match score for the first leg of the play offs?

I've got my tickets, I'm just going to enjoy the occasion, win lose or draw. You have to put it into context, it's only a game of football. I don't predict. I would be happy with 12-0 to North End, feel fairly confident about the second leg, then but who knows.

Because they're turning it into a "creative industries complex"[xx(]
Anyone know what one of them is?
