What they aren't doing is booking the players for obvious diving. OK Man U and Nistlerooy and Rooney are prime examples, but last week Fuller of Portsmouth dropped like a stone in the penalty area clearly no contact, then went chasingthe ref complaining he didn't get a penalty. Result, play on, not booked. I know Fuller is a diver from his time with North End. If a player dives and the ref waves play on because he knows he dived, surely he is forced by the laws of the game to yellow card. Another instance is tugging of shirts which appears to be part of the game now. WHY??
