This one's for you, Martin:
Ever since I became a member of the forum, I've never bothered logging off. Consequently, my preferences for which of the sub-forums I'm interested in has stayed the same and those I choose not to look at have remained out of sight.
In the last week or two, it seems that I've been logged off by the forum. I have automatic log-on, so I didn't have to log on again. However, my preferences have disappeared, and I get all the stuff I have no interest in back in the menu.
Has the log-in logic been changed to drop a log-in if not re-accessed for a certain length of time? I usually log on at about 7:00 local (15:00 UK time)every day. I have no interest in "What's on" - I'm 4000 miles away. I'm also not particularly interested in local sports for the same reason.
It's not WW3, but it is an annoyance to get all those categories that are of no interest back on the menu.
