Ghosts in old Leyland

I'm fascinated by these tales of secret passages particularly the one between the Parish Church andthe Eagle and Child. I wonder if the vicar staggers along it sometimes. I 've not seen a boggart , my mum always told me as a child to get to sleep or else 'boggart 'll get you.
Used to lie awake wondering what the heck a boggart was.

The significant owl hoots in the night.
