Thanks for that, perhaps this is the answer.....
It becomes clear from the results that you win more because you are good at it. You don't sit in front of your screen 24/7 waiting for the next photo so it would seem that everyone has the same chance. The photos are difficult to take as they have to be hard enough to be interesting but at the same time "getable".... no good showing one brick !!
The contest has to be open to all, of course it's only a bit of fun.
I could give a day and time for each photos release but that would never please all members.

I`d just like to point out that my remarks were made very much with `tongue in cheek`. It`s so difficult to get ones meaning across simply using the written word. Some responses made me feel like I`d been moaning about the comp. which simply isn`t the case. Keep it up Roy, as I`ve said in an earlier posting, anything that captures the attention of so many members has to be good. Jim

Me too, I don't want anyone to run round to David's house to tie his hands behind his back and stick a plaster over his nose!!!! I'm just jealous I'm not there and able to join in the fun. Could you run down Cowling Lane and take a picture of No.6 I could then have a go...... Keep up the good work both posting the picture and guessing. Such peaceful hobbies wish the whole world would join in.

I haven't taken offence, don't worry. It's just a competition where the answers are posted below it, this type of competition is often found on the Internet where they have a question or similar, then a series of blank lines marked

The answer is.....
You then think of the answer, then scroll down to see the correct answer or see what others have answered.
Roy how about waiting a couple of days for people to submit their answers, then it leaves it open for people to either agree with previous postings if there are any, or submit their own answer. After a couple of days announce the location, instead of doing it as soon as someone has got it correct?
I like doing these puzzles, it is a nice diversion after work. I don't want to spoil it for others by always knowing the answers but the process of submitting your answer leaves your entry open for all to see. I think the above delayed annoucement of the correct answer would be quite an improvement leaving us all to decide if earlier posters are correct or if we have THE correct answer. I think the resulting discussion would add to the appeal of the competition until the location was confirmed.
Your doing a great job Roy, but you must know somewhere I won't recognise in Leyland?

That's a good idea David. We could make it a bit like the announcements on some of these TV shows, you know, "And the one going home tonight is................................". ( Pause while announcer reads Tolstoy's "War and Peace") [8D]
