Carling Cup/FA Cup
#1
Over the years I've read and heard many times about how the Carling Cup and the FA Cup mean very little now-a-days. After watching the Chelsea v Spurs game live on TV today and watching both the players and the crowd reactions both during and after the game, I have come to the conclusion that the English football fan is being hood winked by the press. It was one of the most exciting games I have seen for quite some time.
I guess it does mean very little....once your team is knocked out ?

Well done Spurs and Chelsea for a great game.

I guess the FA Cup has now lost a bit of the shine...Mau Utd 0 - 1 Portsmouth
Wouldn't it be great if two lower division teams made the Final.

It'll make it more interesting if Chelsea get knocked out. I guess after beating Preston, Man U was an easy game for Pompey[:p]

I watched most of the second half of the Blackburn v Fulham match today, it was pathetic, how these teams are in the Premier League is beyond me as is why anyone would pay to watch them !

You should have watched the Barnsley game Alan, thoroughly entertaining from start to finish.
